Surgical experience, clear communication and personal care
I am Dr Leonidas Alevizos, a specialist in General and Gastrointestinal Surgery, with international training and more than a decade of experience in laparoscopic and abdominal surgery.
My aim is to help you understand your condition, the treatment options available and what you can realistically expect from each one. I believe good surgical care begins before the operating theatre: by listening carefully, explaining things clearly and making decisions tailored to each patient.
My main areas of practice include hernia and abdominal wall surgery, gallbladder surgery, proctology, colorectal surgery and other gastrointestinal conditions, with a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques.
Alongside my digestive surgery practice, I have also completed specific training in hair restoration and FUE hair transplantation, which I provide as a separate area of my medical practice following an individual assessment.
If you have a surgical problem or are considering an operation, we can review your case carefully and discuss the options available to you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Alevizos is incredible. He explains everything patiently and always with a great attitude. From the very first minute, he made me feel calm and in good hands. You can tell he genuinely cares about how you’re doing and not just about solving the problem quickly. If you’re looking for a surgeon who truly cares about you and is amazing at what he does, he’s the one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I had stomach surgery by surgeon Leonidas Alevizos and noone can imagine the great quality of life he gave me. His history with me was always his absolute concern for my digestive problems and there was not a single consultation in which I did not feel understood or supported. His psychology with me was excellent, my post-operative period was very monitored by him and I could not have felt more cared for at the time when I felt most vulnerable.
